In English we say
I am not feeling myself today
In poetry we say -
Wearing borrowed thoughts like ill-fitting clothes,
Today I am a stranger in my own skin.
My reflection asks questions I cannot answer,
While my laughter sounds like it belongs to someone else.
Searching through empty rooms in my chest for a familiar voice,
I am homesick for a self I cannot find.
My shadow feels unfamiliar maybe even foreign,
Walking half a step behind like it's forgotten how to follow.
Today I am cut off from the anchor of who I thought I was,
Drifting aimlessly through the sands of a fogged up mind.
Overwhelmed staring at an ever growing chasm,
Between yesterday's certainty and tomorrow's distant shore.

Tried a different writing style where it doesn't matter if the poem rhymes.
Opening style inspired by the poetry writing of Whitney Hanson, where she does begin most of her poems with - In English we say
